Community Action Days

The CMPP Community Action Days are aimed at supporting local schools,  charities, colleges and not-for-profit organisations in and around Woking with one off community projects.

These volunteering events provide the perfect opportunity for us to find a way to help you do what it is you do so well! A typical team size for a project is normally between 5 and 25 people both skilled and non-skilled employees from across the area.

Ideas for Community Action Days may include: gardening or allotment projects within your school grounds, painting and renovation projects for charities, conservation projects that improve wellbeing, promoting mental health, projects that support carers, suppoting older people and their independence to name a few . Basically we will look to support any local project that aims to support the Health and Wellbeing of the Woking community.

If needed for your project, we are also able to offer you financial support (with thanks to Partners of CMPP) for tools and materials. You will need to purchase and then provide us with receipts for the amount spent on this project, we will then be able to reimburse you for up to £500 of costs.

All applications received will be sent to our Partners for consideration. We cannot guarantee that your project will be chosen but we will try our hardest to get as much support as possible for you.

Please register your interest via the short on-line application form below and we will be in touch.

Please note your project MUST be based or run within the Woking area and surroundings and it must promote our project theme of Health and Wellbeing.
