The Community Matters Partnership Project (CMPP) is a network of socially responsible businesses committed to working together to share ideas, network, collaborate and form stronger relationships in order to make a difference through local fundraising and social projects.
Formed in 2018, by Woking Borough Council, local businesses and professional networks, CMPP Woking is a self-funded project bringing businesses together to collaborate and support the health and wellbeing of the local community. Through this innovative project, we are looking to shift community engagement away from ad-hoc, isolated activities to become a more sophisticated and strategic collaborative approach.
We’re not the first CMPP - pioneers CMPP Farnborough formed in 2011 to focus on improving the aspirations of young people. In 2017 more than 30 businesses worked together to make a difference, resulting in £32,000 of funding across 17 projects, as well as delivering more than 2,045 hours of employee volunteering time.
The Woking CMPP Partnership is open to all businesses, organisations and networks, with a flexible pricing structure.
